I really enjoyed my stay. Very clean room, comfortable bed and quiet. I was worried from reading the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very flexible with my plans as they changed. I have absolutely no complaints and would stay here again if I ever find myself back in Newport.
I stayed recently in the single room. There wasn't much to it but it had everything you would need for a short stay. The room was clean, and it was cleaned every day with the bed being straightened, tea & coffee bits topped up and the bin emptied. The main downside to this stay was the noise from the other rooms, which you could hear through the walls. Other than that, this was a great budget friendly, basic, hotel.
Lovely place. Very friendly helpful staff. Room was spotless. Comfortable and quiet nights sleep. Parking for £10 is AMAZING ! Highly recommended
We had to book here last minute, The room was lovely... Clean, spacious and very modern. We had a lovely nights sleep on an extremely comfortable bed with fresh,clean sheets... We didn't stay for breakfast as we had to leave earlier then the breakfast start time. Would recommend and stay here again.
Location ideal if your visiting newport county for the football, 5minute walk to the ground. Other than that its situated on a busy main road so traffic noise is loud. Trains going past every couple of minutes aswell. Rooms nice and clean, beds a little uncomfortable, but im a restless sleeper anyway so each to their own. If you can overlook the traffic noise then i would recomend.
Spacious, cean room. Bed OK, and I slept well, although the mattress was clearly well worn with a dip in the middle - but pillows were good and bed linen fresh and comfortable. The shower was excellent, quite powerful. Quiet location, although the vent in the bathroom rattled occasionally when windy outside. Efficient check-in service. Would stay again.
It wasn't a bad hotel. The rates were good. Some minor flaws in the quality of the room but the bed was comfortable.

On the night of Saturday, 11th March 2023 I stopped in this hotel. The service was the average door, and the staff back 10 minutes on 2 occasions when I went to this hotel. The staff when they were very pleasant and helpful There was a decent breakkie, and the rooms and showers were good I would use this hotel again Saturday night on the 23rd of September, 2023, this hotel we used again, we used room 4 in another building next to the main hotel The room was clean and well laid out, plenty of towels, and a kettle with coffee and tea The shower was ok. We did not have breakfast on this stop This hotel, if wanting a couple of nights to stop in Newport, is Ideal.
